The 211 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron delivers youth programming to help them build aviation, citizenship, teamwork, and leadership skills.

We are an Ottawa-based branch of the Provincial Committee of the Air Cadet League of Canada – Quebec and Ottawa Valley (PCQOV), which aims to develop youth into active, responsible members of their communities. Our squadron was formed in 1942 during the Second World War, along with other squadrons and corps across Canada, as a means of recruitment and training for military service. Its role evolved to meet the changing needs of society and its young people.

We are an aviation-focused organization preparing youth to be engaged citizens of Canada.

We promote and encourage youth in our local community to develop and maintain an interest in aviation, leadership, and citizenship.

The Cadet Training Program is offered in partnership with the Department of National Defence, which is responsible for the training of cadets, and the Air Cadet League of Canada, which raises additional funds for programming. While the training is delivered by Canadian Armed Forces officers, cadets are not members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
