Welcome to the Air Cadet Squadron!
We are excited to have you and your cadet join our team. To ensure a positive and successful experience, please review the following guidelines:
Age Requirements: 12 to 19 years old
Meeting Location: 710 Broadview Avenue (Notre Dame HighSchool)
Training: Regular training sessions will be held at our designated location.
Cadet Selection: Cadets who demonstrate exceptional attendance, maturity, and commitment may be selected for advanced training opportunities.
Summer Training: Selected cadets may have the opportunity to attend a Cadet Training Center (CTC) for 4-6 weeks. This training may take place within or outside of the province.
Specialized Training Programs:
- Survival Camp: A 4-week intensive survival training program.
- Advanced Aviation: For cadets who have completed basic aviation training.
- Gliding: Requires cadets to be at least 16 years old before starting the program.
- Power Aviation: Requires cadets to be at least 16 years old before starting the program.
Please note that participation in these specialized training programs is subject to availability and individual cadet suitability.
