Cadets for walking and Staff and Volunteers for supervising

What:

Walk-a-thon where cadets from 872, 51 and 211 get sponsored by Friends and Family to walk 10k (2 loops of the 5k trail, so they are not just walking around the track). The money raised by each squadron will go to fund that squadron's cadet events. There will be a BBQ. The cost will be $3 for a hamburger (or hotdog) + drink. This is a great chance to meet cadets from other squadrons.

Registration:

1) Navigate to raceroster.com

2) On the home page under "Looking to register for an event?" search "211"

3) Select the "211 Walk-a-thon 2023" Register button (you will be taken to the event page)

4) Select Register and fill in the required information, including an email address.

Sponsors:

1) Ask friends and family to sponsor your 10km walk.

2) Direct them to raceroster.com and to search for "211" (top left hand side of the page)

3) Select the "211 Walk-a-thon 2023" event, and then "Donate to participant" in the left hand menu.

4) Follow instruction.

Timing

0900 - Staff and volunteers arrival

0930 - Cadet arrival

1000: Walking starts and BBQ gets fired up for lunch

1300/1330: Walk finishes and cadets vacate the property

1330-1400: Staff an volunteers clean up.
