Ottawa 67’s Game

Other Information: The squadron has been given approximately 30 tickets to see an Ottawa 67’s game, if a cadet is interested in going they are to email email@example.com. OCdt Weinberg will be out in front of Gate 2 at 13hr30 to hand out the tickets to see the game.
Regional Biathlon Competition
When: Saturday January 25th from 12hr00 to 16hr00 and Sunday January 26th from 08hr45 to15hr30

Other Information: All racers and guests are to bring food and plenty of water. All cadets participating have been given their race day and category. It is always a LOT of fun for everyone! Parents able to volunteer should email firstname.lastname@example.org. Spectators are more than welcome! Come show the spirit of 211! All racers must bring their health card.
Squadron Mess Dinner
When: Friday January 31st arrive no later than 18hr15 to 21hr15
Where: RCAF Officers’ Mess (158 Gloucester St)
Dress: C2 (white dress shirt, black bowtie, and no wedge) or C3 (blue dress shirt, black tie, and wedge)
Other Information: A great annual squadron activity to socialize and have a great meal.
National Camp Mock Interviews
When: Monday February 3rd from 18hr30 to 20hr30
Other Information: This will be an opportunity for any cadet participating in the National Camp Interviews to learn practical interview skills.
When: Tuesday February 4th from 18hr30 to 20hr30
Where: NDHS Gym 2
Other Information: It is highly recommended for all first-year cadets (not just those in Level 1 but also any who were accelerated to a higher level) to attend, but the event is open to all. Cadets will be shown how to care for, maintain, and prepare their uniforms, and should bring their boots, polishing kit, and pants (with all items labelled with the cadets’ surnames).

National Course Interviews

Space and Aviation Career Exploration Fair [Cancelled]
Kiwanis Bed Race
All cadets have been given pledge forms and should be collecting pledges. Each cadet will receive one fundraising point for each $50 collected (fundraising points are required in order to participate in the year end trip). There will be a prestigious award presented at the Annual Ceremonial Review to the top fundraising cadet. The money collected will go directly to cadet activities, including team shirts and sweaters, year end trip and other cadet functions. This is the last week to gather bed race pledges, and all cadets should have hit their $50 goal by now. Updated Cadet Guidebook
All cadets, especially new ones, please be aware of the updated Cadet Guidebook, which you can download in PDF format from the home page of the squadron webpage. The cadet guidebook will help you understand how the squadron works and provide you with the knowledge of what you need to know to properly function in the squadron. It is to your great benefit to familiarize yourself with this resource. You don’t have to download it, but you should at least go through it online. It’s there to access whenever necessary.
