Senior Ground School
When: Monday October 7th from 18hr30 to 20hr30
Where: NDHS classrooms
Other Information: Senior ground school is open to cadets who are planning on applying for glider, power, or other national aviation camps (aircraft maintenance and operations, or advanced aerospace). All other cadets will be able to participate in Junior ground school later this year.
When: Tuesday October 8th from 18hr30 to 20hr30
Where: Gym 2 at NDHS
Dress: Cadets are to be in civilian attire with parade boots.
Other Information: If you are interested in joining the drill team, please come out.
Music Clinic [Cancelled]
Other Information: The music clinic scheduled for Saturday October 5th has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
Fall Tag Day [New Date]
When: Saturday October 26th (timings to be determined)
Where: To be assigned
Other Information: Attendance is mandatory for all cadets and they will receive a fundraising point for each shift they participate in, which is necessary to attend the year end trip. Approximately 4 cadets will be selected to sell poppies for the Royal Canadian Legion on the same day. These cadets will also receive credit for fundraising as they are selling poppies during the Tag Day event. Sign-up and shifts will be available closer to the activity.
Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign
When: Saturday October 26th from 10hr00 to 18hr00 and Sunday October 27th from 10hr00 to 17hr00
Where: Real Canadian Superstore (190 Richmond Rd)
Other Information: There are 2 shifts available each day, and 8 cadets are needed for the weekend. The shifts are: Saturday 10hr00 to 14hr00 and 14hr00 to 18hr00; Sunday 10hr00 to 13hr30 and 13hr30 to 17hr00. Sign-up will be available closer to the activity.

Updated Cadet Guidebook
All cadets, especially new ones, please be aware of the updated Cadet Guidebook, which you can download in PDF format from the home page of the squadron webpage. The cadet guidebook will help you understand how the squadron works and provide you with the knowledge of what you need to know to properly function in the squadron. It is to your great benefit to familiarize yourself with this resource. You don’t have to download it, but you should at least go through it online. It’s there to access whenever necessary.
Regular Training Evening
When: Wednesday October 9th from 18hr15 to 21hr00
Where: Drop-off and Pick-up are at NDHS
Dress: Cadets are to be in C3 (winter dress), and any cadets without a uniform are to dress in a white shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
Other Information: Due to the possibility of a strike taking effect early next week the school may not be available. Please keep a close eye on the Facebook page and website for any changes to the training night’s location.
