Our 211 Ottawa Kiwanis Air Cadet Squadron Newest Glider and Power Pilots
Congratulations to the following 211 Air Cadets for their fantastic achievements!
From left to right, F/Sgt Rudin-Brown, F/Sgt Ruddy, F/Sgt McCloskey, WO2 Bhagawatula, F/Sgt Jiang.
Our newest pilots attended the St-Jean Cadet Flying Training Centre in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, during the summer of 2019 for a multi-week intensive flight training course. These young pilots are certified to fly by Transport Canada and have bright careers waiting for them in the aviation industry should they decide to pursue that path. You’ll notice these cadets are wearing their hard-earned wings, proudly displayed over their left breast.
All of these pilots received flying scholarships paid for by the Royal Canadian Air Cadet League. Any youth aged 12-18 who is interested in an amazing program geared to preparing them for leadership and life skills is encouraged to join the Cadet Program.
