Pilots, talking about flying….AGAIN! ✈️😃
For those cadets who are interested in becoming pilots in the future, or who want to learn more about the flying options in Air Cadets, here is a fun live event for you!
Hosted and planned by cadets, for cadets, Pilot Panel will share with you the details about how to enjoy aviation, and maybe get your wings, as an air cadet!
The first Pilot Panel last week was a success – lots of great feedback, and up to 70 participants at a time throughout the evening! The cadet pilots who planned and executed the first event have decided that there is enough demand to hold another Pilot Panel, so they can reach more cadets, answer more questions, and talk more about the subject they love.
On Wednesday, April 29, at 1800 EST they plan to interview each other, panel-style, about their experiences on the Glider Pilot and Power Pilot courses.
They have made a schedule, in case some cadets are more specifically interested in certain courses:
1800 – Introductions
1815 – Focus on the Glider Pilot course
1915 – Focus on the Power Pilot course
2000 – Planned end, may go over if lots of questions remain
Many air cadets don’t have a clear idea of what is involved with these courses, how to apply for them, and what the benefits are. This panel will help to answer those questions, and hopefully encourage cadets to consider applying in future years. The event is open to all cadets (and adults!) who are interested. There will also be time planned to take questions from the “audience”.
